Project Overview & Mandate

Sector

Hospitality — luxury hotel, repurpose and new build

Location

Mayfair, London W1

Scheme Size

196-room luxury hotel (relaunching as St Regis London); new double basement, rear and two-storey extensions, new grand entrance, signature restaurant, bar and wellness facilities; BREEAM Excellent

Our Role and Period

Project management, client interface and completion — role held by Barry Winters prior to Vanor; programme advisory and delivery oversight by Graeme Kyle prior to Vanor

The Problem

The project had stalled under previous management. The owner needed a credible route through refinancing, completion and opening, and reporting that funders and the investment committee could rely on.

What We Did

Audited the project position, built the close-out strategy, supported the refinancing with funder and investment-committee reporting, set a governance and escalation rhythm, and drove the project towards completion and commissioning readiness.

Outcome

A controlled route to completion and opening, with evidenced reporting that restored owner and funder confidence. [Owner to add: PC date achieved and any programme or cost outcome you are prepared to state publicly.]
