Project Overview & Mandate

Sector

Commercial — Grade A office and retail redevelopment

Location

City of London, EC4

Scheme Size

146,000 sq ft Grade A office, 3,800 sq ft retail and 7,700 sq ft landscaped terraces; demolition of 100–108 Fetter Lane, two new basement levels, 12 upper storeys plus roof plant, new pedestrian route and pocket square

Our Role and Period

Project management and procurement strategy — prior role, pre-construction through main-contract procurement

The Problem

A tight urban site with demolition, a two-level basement, party-wall interfaces and constrained logistics, where consents, design, procurement, sequencing and funding gateways all had to align.

What We Did

Set the project route map from the outset, defining sequence, decision gateways and financial commitments; led the contractor procurement strategy and the report and recommendation for the main contract; coordinated design, logistics and interface planning.

Outcome

A procurement route and route map that aligned consents, design, sequencing and funding decisions before construction commitment. [Owner to add: contract award and any delivery outcome you are prepared to state.]
